Red Bull New York Acquires Two International Spots from Seattle Sounders FC

Red Bull New York have acquired two international roster spots from Seattle Sounders FC for the 2026 season, the club announced today. New York sends $350,000 in 2026 General Allocation Money and $50,000 in 2027 General Allocation Money to Seattle.   

The Red Bulls open up the 2026 MLS season against Orlando City SC on Saturday, February 21 at Inter&Co Stadium. Kickoff is set for 7:30 p.m. ET with coverage on Apple TV and Red Bulls Radio in English via the Red Bull New York app and NewYorkRedBulls.com. 

TRANSACTION: Red Bull New York have acquired two 2026 international roster spots from Seattle Sounders FC in exchange for $350,000 in 2026 General Allocation Money and $50,000 in 2027 General Allocation Money on January 16, 2026.
