HARRISON, N.J. (December 4, 2018) – The New York Red Bulls announced today that the club has exercised options on 11 players and declined the options of six.
The Red Bulls exercised options on:
Goalkeepers Evan Louro and Ryan Meara.
Defenders Kyle Duncan, Aaron Long and Michael Amir Murillo.
Midfielders Vincent Bezecourt, Derrick Etienne, Jr., Alex Muyl, and Florian Valot.
Forwards Anatole Abang and Brian White.
The club declined contract options on defenders Aurelien Collin, Ethan Kutler, and Kevin Politz, and forward Carlos Rivas.
The Red Bulls declined end-of-loan options on Fidel Escobar and Marc Rzatkowski.
Defenders Tim Parker and Tommy Redding are both out of contract at the end of 2018. The club is in discussions to bring Parker back in 2019.
Twelve other players are already under contract for 2019: Goalkeeper Luis Robles, defenders Connor Lade, Kemar Lawrence, Hassan Ndam, midfielders Cristian Casseres, Jr., Sean Davis, Andreas Ivan, Kaku, Jean-Christophe Koffi, Ben Mines, and Danny Royer, and forward Bradley Wright-Phillips.
The current 2019 roster stands at 23 players.
