STARTING XI, pres. by OANDA: Red Bull New York Visit Yankee Stadium

Red Bull New York take on New York City FC on Friday night at Yankee Stadium, kicking off at 7:30 PM ET.

Head Coach Michael Bradley will deploy Ethan Horvath in goal, with a backline of Matthew Dos Santos, Tim Parker, Julián Bazán and Dylan Nealis. Nealis will wear the captain’s armband. 

This will be the 35th all-time meeting between New York and NYCFC across all competitions, with the Red Bulls holding the series advantage with a 16-13-5 mark.

Julian Hall, Cade Cowell and Cameron Harper lead the attack on the Yankee Stadium field.

New York have gone 1-1-1 in their last three road trips to Yankee Stadium.

Adri Mehmeti, Ronald Donkor and Mohammed Sofo link up in the midfield.

The Red Bulls are coming off a 1-0 road win against Columbus Crew, which saw Donkor score the game-winner in the 89th minute.

Off the bench, RBNY will have Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting, Emil Forsberg, Sekou Kone, Dennis Nelich, Devin Padelford, David Ruiz, Jorge Ruvalcaba and Robert Voloder available off the bench. John McCarthy will serve as the backup goalkeeper. Kone joins the First Team on a short-term call up from Red Bull New York II.
