New York Red Bulls U-23 midfielder Arun Basuljevic has been named to the 2016 PDL All-Eastern Conference team after his standout season. Basuljevic played in all 14 matches, leading the team in minutes played (1,129), goals (8) and assists (5).

In a loaded division, the U-23s finished the season with a 6-4-4 record and missed the playoffs by the slightest of margins.
Basuljevic ranked 13th in the fifth edition of the 2016 PDL Top Prospects List.
Entering his junior year at Georgetown University, Basuljevic will be a key figure in the Hoya’s program as they look to defend their Big East Tournament title.
In 2014, Basuljevic was named 2014 Soccer America Freshman of the Year and earned a spot on the Men's All-Freshman First Team, The BIG EAST Rookie of the Year and a unanimous selection to the BIG EAST All-Rookie squad.
In his sophomore season, the Mahopac, N.Y., native was a First Team All-BIG EAST honoree while starting all 21 games for the Blue & Gray. Basuljevic finished as the third-leading scorer on the team with six goals and four assists for 16 points on the season.

Prior to Georgetown, Basuljevic was a member of the Red Bulls Academy and won the Development Academy National Championship with both the U-16s and U-18s.
