HARRISON, N.J. (August 28, 2015) – Six college soccer teams with New York Red Bulls Academy products on their rosters have been named to the Men’s Division I Top 25 in TopDrawerSoccer.com’s Preseason College Soccer National Rankings. In total, 14 Academy products are split between the five teams.
The five teams include No. 1 University of Virginia, No. 3 Georgetown, No. 10 Louisville, No. 12 Maryland, and No. 17 UNC Charlotte. Wake Forest and Akron, who are also teams with former Academy players on their rosters, were named to the, “Others considered” list.

Among the players listed below, Adam Najem and Brandon Allen have both been named to the 2015 MAC Hermann Trophy Watch Lists, the most prestigious individual award in college soccer presented annually to one player. The following players are members of the five teams named to the Top 25 and the two named to the considered list:
- Virginia: Wesley Wade (FWD, Fr.), Derrick Etienne (MID, Fr.), Malcolm Dixon (FWD, Fr.), Nate Odusote (DEF, So.), Scott Thomsen (DEF, Sr.)
3. Georgetown: Brandon Allen (FWD, Sr.), Alex Muyl (FWD, Jr.), Arun Basuljevic (MID/FWD, So.), Christopher Lema (MID, So.), Ethan Lochner (FWD, Fr.), Kyle Zajec (MID, Fr.)
