HARRISON, N.J. (September 30, 2026) – Red Bull New York have added RBNY II midfielders Sekou Kone and Nate Worth, Winger Pedro Castro and Defender Connor Faello on short-term agreement ahead of club’s regular season match against St. Louis CITY SC.
Kone, 19, Red Bull New York II and made his MLS debut subbing into New York’s match against LAFC in the 33rd minute on September 9. In his debut, he recorded the third-most passes by New York from open play completing 72 attempts.
For RBNY II, the midfielder made his MLS NEXT Pro debut in New York’s 4-2 victory over Columbus Crew 2 on March 1. The midfielder has made 18 appearances and recorded his first career MLS NEXT Pro assist on July 19 against CT United.
Worth, 19 is in his second season with Red Bull New York II where he’s made 38 appearances and has scored two goals and tallied five assists. This season he has made 24 appearances with two goals and four assists as captain of RBNY II. The midfielder was a part of the 2025 MLS NEXT Pro Cup winning side and tallied a team-high three assists during their MLS NEXT Pro Playoffs run which is tied for the second-most assists in Red Bulls II postseason history.
Prior to New York, the 18-year-old played with USL Championship side Tampa Bay Rowdies. Through two seasons with the club, he has made 30 appearances across all competitions. He scored his first career goal with the club in a 4-2 victory over Charleston Battery on July 28, 2024. The midfielder made his club debut on May 12, 2024 against Legion FC, making him the youngest midfielder to make his debut in Rowdies history at 17 years and 76 days old. Worth also made 23 appearances across all competitions with FC Tulsa in the USL Championship.
Castro, 19 was acquired on loan by RBNY II through the 2026 MLS NEXT Pro season from Red Bull Bragantino on September 1. The Brazilian winger is coming off his MLS NEXT Pro debut and first career MLS NEXT Pro goal against Huntsville City Football Club on September 20.
Faello, 18 is in his first season with RBNY II and has made 18 appearances and provided three assists. The defender made his MLS NEXT Pro debut against New England Revolution II on April 12.
