Red Bull New York have added RBNY II midfielder Nate Worth and forward Mijahir Jiménez to a short-term agreement ahead of their MLS regular season match against Philadelphia Union, the club announced today.
Worth, 19 is in his second season with Red Bull New York II where he’s made 29 appearances and has scored two goals and tallied five assists. This season he has made 15 appearances with two goals and an assist as captain of RBNY II. The midfielder was a part of the 2025 MLS NEXT Pro Cup winning side and tallied a team high three assists during their MLS NEXT Pro Playoffs run which is tied for the second-most assists in Red Bulls II postseason history. Â
Prior to New York, the 18-year-old played with USL Championship side Tampa Bay Rowdies. Through two seasons with the club, he has made 30 appearances across all competitions. He scored his first career goal with the club in a 4-2 victory over Charleston Battery on July 28, 2024. The midfielder made his club debut on May 12, 2024 against Legion FC, making him the youngest midfielder to make his debut in Rowdies history at 17 years and 76 days old. Worth also made 23 appearances across all competitions with FC Tulsa in the USL Championship.
On the international stage, the Chester, N.J. native most recently was called into September U-20 USYNT Domestic Identity Camp. He featured for the U-18 National Team at the 2025 UEFA Friendship Cup where he appeared in all four matches. The side went undefeated defeating France, Argentina, Australia, and Portugal to clinch the 2025 UEFA Friendship Cup title. He also made four appearances for the U-15 United States National Team scoring his first international goal in a friendly match against U-15 Portugal on May 1, 2022. The midfielder made three appearances for the U-16 National Team and two for the U-19 National Team.
Jiménez, 19 is in his second season with Red Bull New York II and has made 32 appearances, scoring 11 goals and six assists. This season he’s registered 15 appearances with three goals and four assists. The Panama City, Panama native made history becoming the youngest player in Red Bulls II history to score a hat trick when he netted three goals in a 4-2 victory over NYCFC II on July 20, 2025.
The forward was a pivotal part of RBNY II’s 2025 MLS NEXT Pro Cup winning team, appearing in all four MLS NEXT Pro Cup matches, netting a goal in the squad’s 5-3 Eastern Conference Semifinals victory and converted a penalty kick in the side’s 3-1 shootout win over Colorado Rapids 2 on November 8.
Prior to Red Bulls II, Jiménez made 24 appearances with C.D. Plaza Amador in Liga Panamena. His first career professional goal was an 85th game winner in a 2-1 win over Veraguas United FC on March 11, 2024. Jiménez is the youngest striker to debut for C.D. Plaza Amador, making his first appearance on January 28, 2024, at 16 years, 306 days old against Sporting San Miguelito.
The forward most recently was called into June U-20 Panama camp in Yalova, Turkiye where he faced up against Iraq, Jordan and Saudi Arabia. The Panama City, Panama native also made four appearances for U-19 Panama in December where he tallied an assist and captained the side in matches against Cuba and Honduras.
