HARRISON, N.J. (May 6, 2019) – New York Red Bulls U-23’s will host F.C. Motown on May 7 at MSU Soccer Park in the first round of the 2019 Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup. Kick-off is set for 7 p.m. ET and can be seen live on ESPN+.
The two clubs met each other last year in the first round of the 2018 installment of the tournament. FC Motown defeated the U-23’s, 2-1, at Drew University. Former New York Red Bulls midfielder Dilly Duka recorded a brace.
The winner of this year’s match will advance to the second round to face Memphis 901 FC on May 15, the location and time has yet to be determined.
