The New York Red Bulls (11-9-7) are in Vancouver to take on Whitecaps FC (8-12-7) tonight 7 p.m ET (TV: MSG, MSG GO, Radio: Red Bulls Radio). This will be the only meeting between the two teams this season. The Red Bulls will look to build off of their nine game unbeaten streak, while the Whitecaps enter looking to put an end to a seven game winless streak.

Here are some numbers to know ahead of Saturday’s matchup:

16: Number of goals Bradley Wright-Phillips has scored this season, tied for the league lead with Sebastian Giovinco (TOR) and David Villa (NYC FC).

6:  The two teams have played each other six times in history. New York has yet to beat Vancouver, and is 0-3-3 against Whitecaps FC.

1.7:  Average number of goals the Red Bulls have scored this season, which is the second highest in the MLS.  Compare that with Vancouver’s 1.26 goals scored per game.

1.59: Goals allowed per game by Vancouver, good for fourth highest in the league.  The Red Bulls have allowed only 1.3 goals per game.

2,160: Tim Parker, the Vancouver defenseman, has been an ironman for the Whitecaps this season.  He has played 2,160 minutes, top 20 in the league for field players.
