For his first goal -- and the game-winning goal -- Noah Eile has been named to MLS' Team of the Matchday.
Eile headed down Omar Valencia's service off a corner kick in the second half against CF Montréal for the lone goal of the match, helping New York to three points at Sports Illustrated Stadium.
"It felt great," Eile said. "Obviously, the game being a tie as well, it was felt even better. I lost a little focus there a few minutes after so that I had to refocus again, because it was still a lot of fun to me."
Eile also helped anchor a clean sheet performance from the defense and goalkeeper.
Eile and New York will travel to Chase Stadium for a road match against Inter Miami CF, on Saturday, May 3.
