New York Red Bulls Loan David Jensen to K.V.C Westerlo

HARRISON, N.J. (June 17, 2021) – The New York Red Bulls have loaned goalkeeper David Jensen to K.V.C Westerlo, the club announced today. Jensen joins the Belgian side on a year-long loan, pending transfer of ITC.

“We wish David the best as he heads over to play with Westerlo,” Head of Sport Kevin Thelwell said. “He is a professional, on-and-off the field, and we hope he excels during his stint at Westerlo."

Jensen joined New York on January 29, 2020 and stepped into the starting role to begin the season for the injured Ryan Meara. The Danish goalkeeper made 11 starts and 15 total appearances with a 1.45 goals-against average and one clean sheet. He compiled a 4-5-1 record with 25 saves on 41 attempts in 928 minutes.
