HARRISON, N.J. (March 17, 2024) – New York Red Bulls defender Noah Eile has been selected to the Sweden U-21 Youth National Team roster for their upcoming March camp, the federation announced today.
Eile, 21, joined New York on January 12, 2024 from Malmo FF. Eile spent the last two seasons on loan with Mjallby AIF in the Allsvenskan, where he made 52 appearances and recorded one goal and five assists. Eile has made four appearances for New York this season.
The Lund, Sweden native has made 24 career appearances for Swedish Youth National teams. His most recent youth international experience was for the U-21’s in a 3-0 victory over Finland U-20’s, where he started and played 45 minutes.
Eile and Sweden’s U-21’s will take on Cyprus U-21’s on Friday, March 22 with kickoff scheduled for 9:30 a.m. ET and then they will continue UEFA Euro U-21 qualification, when they face off against North Macedonia U-21 on Tuesday, March 26, with kickoff set for 9 a.m. ET.
