New York Red Bulls Defender Kyle Duncan Named to Jamaica National Roster for 2026 FIFA World Cup Qualifiers

New York Red Bulls defender Kyle Duncan has been named to the Jamaica National Team roster for their upcoming 2026 FIFA World Cup Qualifiers.

Duncan, 27, is in his eighth season with the Red Bulls, where he has made 143 MLS appearances and has recorded six goals and 20 assists. His 20 assists currently rank first in franchise history for most assists by a defender. This season, Duncan has made 16 MLS appearances and has tallied four assists. Duncan currently ranks fourth in franchise history for most MLS appearances by a defender. He is four appearances shy of passing Carlos Mendes.

The Brooklyn, N.Y. native has received his first call-up to the Jamaica National Team and will be seeking to make his first career appearance for Jamaica. Jamaica will play two 2026 FIFA World Cup Qualifiers during their September camp. First, they will face off against Bermuda on Friday, September 5 and then they will play Trinidad and Tobago on Tuesday, September 9. Jamaica currently ranks first in Group E of CONCACAF World Cup Qualifying with a 4-0-0 mark.
