The New York Red Bulls fell to the Columbus Crew by a score of 3-0 at Lower.com Field on Saturday night.

"We deserved [nothing]," Head Coach Sandro Schwarz said. "Columbus deserved the three points."

Crew got goals from Cucho Hernandez, Jacen Russell-Rowe and Aidan Morris.

"We have to learn from this game," Schwarz said.

Dennis Gjengaar made his MLS debut for New York, coming on in the 57th minute.

"We saw today a lot of things we have to do better as a team," Emil Forsberg said. "We lost against a better team, there's no question about it. The most important thing is how we bounce back."

Daniel Edelman was issued a second yellow card late in stoppage time and will miss the match against Orlando City SC.

"I'm sure -- and I know these guys, this team -- that we will be able to improve," Schwarz said. "We have to learn."

New York returns home to Red Bull Arena to face off against Inter Miami CF on Saturday, March 23.

"We have a new game next week," Forsberg said. "We have to look forward."

Kickoff is scheduled for 2 p.m. ET on MLS Season Pass on Apple TV in English and Spanish and New York Red Bulls Radio in English via TuneIn, the New York Red Bulls app and NewYorkRedBulls.com.
