Red Bull New York topped Atlanta United FC to end the regular season with a 3-0 victory at Sports Illustrated Stadium.Â
Adri Mehmeti, Cade Cowell and Jahkeele Marshall-Rutty scored for New York. Ethan Horvath and the defense kept a clean sheet on the night.
New York took the lead in the 31st minute. After his initial shot was saved, Mehmeti evaded the goalkeeper and scored on the open net.
The Red Bulls doubled their lead in the 54th minute. After Ronald Donkor found fellow Sekou Koné, the 19-year-old delivered a perfectly placed ball to Cowell, whose shot was deflected into the back of the net.
New York were able to seal the three points in the 82nd minute. After Hall was fouled from just outside the box, Marshall-Rutty's direct free kick found the top right corner.
Mehmeti scored his second goal of the 2026 MLS season. The 17-year-old has accumulated 11 goal contributions during the campaign.
Cowell recorded his fourth goal of the season, his most in an MLS campaign since the 2021 season (five with the San Jose Earthquakes).
Koné registered his second assist of the season. The Bamako, Mali native has recorded an assist in back-to-back matches.
Donkor tallied his 12th assist of the season, extending his team lead inÂ
the category.
Marshall-Rutty scored his first career goal with New York.
With goal contributions from Mehmeti and Koné, the Red Bulls have tiedÂ
the Columbus Crew (1998) for most single season goal contributions byÂ
players 21 and under in MLS history.
Captain Dylan Nealis moved into a tie with Steve Jolley for seventh place in franchise history for most appearances by a defender across allÂ
competitions (147).
New York will conclude the 2026 season with a friendly against Club América on Saturday, November 14 at Sports Illustrated Stadium. Kickoff is set for 7:30 p.m. ET.
