A Frankie Amaya rocket from outside the box was for naught, as two late Columbus goals gave the Crew a dramatic 2-1 victory at Lower.com Field on Saturday night.

After a scoreless first half, Amaya gave New York the lead in the 53rd minute with a screamer from outside the box.

The Red Bulls could not hold on for the full 90 minutes, though, as Derrick Etienne Jr. equalized in the 89th minute after coming on as a second-half sub.

He wasn't done yet, though, as he scored again in the 90+3 minute to give the Crew all three points.

New York will now finish off the regular season on Sunday at Red Bull Arena against Charlotte FC. Kickoff will be at 2:30 pm.
