The New York Red Bulls fell behind twice in the second half to the Chicago Fire, but battled back to secure a point in a wild 3-3 draw at Red Bull Arena on Wednesday night.

Lewis Morgan scored from the penalty spot to give New York an early lead, but Chris Mueller leveled for Chicago in the 38th minute.

It was Morgan's team-leading fifth goal of the season for the Red Bulls.

Chicago would take the lead twice in the second half through Wyatt Omsberg and Xherdan Shaqiri, but goals from Cameron Harper and one in the 90'+1' minute from Patryk Klimala secured a 3-3 draw.

It was Harper's first MLS goal in his first senior start. He now has an assist or a goal in all three of his appearances so far in 2022.

Omir Fernandez assisted both goals, and was named Man of the Match. He now has a team-leading six assists on the season.

New York is still looking for their first win at Red Bull Arena this season, but extend their unbeaten streak to eight matches across all competitions.

The Red Bulls will now travel to Fort Lauderdale to take on Inter Miami at 6 PM ET on Sunday, May 22.
