HARRISON, N.J. (June 12, 2018) – Playing their fourth game in a span of 11 days, the New York Red Bulls (7-4-2, 23 pts) hosts Seattle Sounders FC (3-7-2, 11 pts) on Wednesday at Red Bull Arena. Kickoff is slated for 8 p.m. ET with coverage on MSG, MSG Go and New York Red Bulls Radio in English and Spanish on TuneIn.


Coverage of Wednesday’s match on MSG begins at 7:30 p.m. with Honda Red Bulls Game Night. Steve Cangialosi will have the primary play-by-play responsibilities and will be alongside Shep Messing and Michelle Gingras.


New York Red Bulls Radio goes live at 7 p.m. ET with triHonda Countdown to Kickoff, hosted by Matt Harmon and Steve Jolley. Ernesto Motta will have the Spanish play-by-play duties, beginning at 8 p.m.




New York will host its third Western Conference opponent at Red Bull Arena and face its sixth overall in 2018. The Red Bulls have fared well against the West, owning a 4-1-0 mark and outscoring Western Conference opponents, 12-4. New York has not allowed a goal against a team from the West at Red Bull Arena this season.


The Red Bulls are 4-1-1 at RBA, outscoring opponents, 15-3 in league play and have tallied four shutouts. New York continues to hold serve as one of the best teams at home since Red Bull Arena was built in 2010. Overall, New York has compiled the most wins (88) and the most points (295) over the last eight seasons in MLS.


The Red Bulls young players continue to step up when called upon. Defender Hassan Ndam, 19, has made the most of his first two starts with the first team, anchoring a backline that has allowed just one goal on 10 shots on goal. Along with Ndam, Ethan Kutler, 23, made his first career start with the first team against NYCFC in the Open Cup and helped record a clean sheet.
