Captain Emil Forsberg scored his seventh MLS goal of the season in New York’s 1-1 draw against the San Jose Earthquakes on July 5. Forsberg has now scored in back-to-back matches. He became the eighth Red Bulls player to record 25 goal contributions in their first 40 matches for the club.
Forsberg will be seeking his first appearance against the Philadelphia Union in his MLS career.
