This will be the third all-time meeting between New York and Austin, with the Red Bulls holding the series advantage with a 1-0-1 mark. This will be the Red Bulls first visit to Austin since 2022, where New York won the match, 4-3, with goals from Cameron Harper and Serge Ngoma.
New York won their first MLS road match of the season against D.C. United on May 24. The Red Bulls have won their last three MLS regular season matches and will look to extend that to four for the first time since 2021. New York have posted an eight-match regular season unbeaten streak against Western Conference opponents.

Harper scored the game-winning goal in New York’s last victory against Atlanta United FC. The midfielder has recorded five goal contributions in his last six MLS appearances. Harper ranked tied for seventh in MLS with six goal involvements during the month of May.
The Roseville, California native recorded a goal and an assist in New York’s last trip to Austin FC in 2022.
Following Saturday’s match, New York will head to BMO Field on Wednesday, June 25 to battle Toronto FC.
