Lewis Morgan was named to the MLS Team of the Matchday for Matchday 13, presented by Audi.
Morgan opened the scoring in New York’s 4-2 win against New England Revolution after receiving a long ball pass from defender Sean Nealis. The Scottish winger brought the ball down and placed the ball in the bottom right-hand corner past the New England goalkeeper.
The goal was his eighth goal of the season, which ranks fifth in MLS, and Morgan also had an assist on Cameron Harper’s goal in the 94th minute of the match.
This is Morgan’s third appearance on the Team of the Matchday this year.
Morgan and the Red Bulls begin a two-match road trip, starting with a match against D.C. United at Audi Field on Wednesday, May 15.
