The New York Red Bulls will travel to California to take on the LA Galaxy in the 2024 MLS Cup.

The match kicks off at 4 PM ET on Saturday, December 7.

Here are the Keys to the Game, presented by Toyota:

Historically Split

This will be the 52nd overall meeting between the two clubs, with the series currently tied. Both teams boast a 21-21-9 mark against the other.

This will be the first meeting between New York and Los Angeles since 2021.

Brick Wall

Carlos Coronel registered his third clean sheet of the postseason in the Eastern Conference Final and is now tied with Luis Robles for most shutouts during a single postseason in franchise history with three.

Coronel has registered 19 saves during the Audi 2024 MLS Cup Playoffs, which ranks tied for second by postseason goalkeepers.

The Red Bulls became the first team since 1998 to win three road matches during a single postseason.

Stepping Up

Felipe Carballo scored the game-winning goal vs Columbus Crew and New York City FC. Daniel Edelman converted the penalty to advance past Columbus. Andrés Reyes scored the match-winner vs. Orlando City SC.

Only Reyes had scored this season in the MLS regular season.

Who will be the next player to step up and score, potentially clinching RBNY’s first MLS Cup? It could be a player no one expects.
