Julian Hall Named to MLS Team of the Matchday, pres. by Audi

Julian Hall has been named to the MLS Team of the Matchday, presented by Audi, for Matchweek 31.

Sixteen-year-old Hall cut past his defender into the box and smashed a right footed shot into the bottom left corner in the 89th minute to pull the New York Red Bulls even in an eventual 1-1 draw with Sporting KC.

Hall scored his second goal of the season and his first since June 19 against CF Montreal, when he became the franchise’s youngest goal scorer at 16 years, 87 days old.

This was the Manhattan, N.Y. native’s first career goal at Red Bull arena and his seventh goal of the season between the first team and New York Red Bulls II in MLS NEXT Pro. Both of the forward’s MLS goals this season have leveled the score in the matches.
