Following training on Wednesday, the New York Red Bulls provided updates on the status of Sean Davis and Aurelien Collin heading into Sunday’s final regular-season home match.

Davis, who picked up a knock in Saturday’s game against Vancouver Whitecaps FC and was subbed off in the 59th minute, said he’s good to go for this weekend.

“I’m feeling fine,” Davis said after training on Wednesday. “It was [just] a couple plays there at the beginning of the second half.”

As for Collin, who is dealing with plantar fasciitis, head coach Jesse Marsch said he isn’t ready to re-join training, but has been running on an anti-gravity treadmill for fitness.

“He was on the Alter-G again and upped the body weight percentage so that’s good,” Marsch said. “We’re hopeful that by the weekend he’s out on the field and doing ball work and being ready to go so those are positives.”
