New York Red Bulls forward Gonzalo Veron is in Argentina seeing a doctor, according to Head Coach Jesse Marsch.
"We're hopeful that he can get back soon," Marsch said.
Veron suffered a hamstring injury during the CONCACAF Champions League matchup against Vancouver Whitecaps FC.
"We're trying to get to the bottom of what his injury is," the head coach said.
Marsch said that Veron is making some progress, feeling stronger in some areas, while still feeling pain elsewhere.
