Gideon Baah

Gideon Baah went for a run on the treadmill, his first run of 2017, as he works back from a fractured left tibia suffered in July 2016.

"First run 2017, a thousand journeys begins with a step," Baah wrote on Twitter. "Slowly but surely."

Baah underwent surgery on July 12, 2016, to repair the fracture.

The Accra, Ghana, native was signed by the Red Bulls ahead of the 2016 season. Baah joined New York from HJK Helsinki in the Finnish league. He made nine MLS appearances in 2016, including six starts, and scored two goals.
