New York Red Bulls midfielder Dennis Gjengaar has been selected to Norway U-21 National Team for upcoming October international friendly.
Gjengaar, 21, is in his second season with the Red Bulls, where he has made 44 MLS appearances and has recorded four goals and two assists. This season, Gjengaar has made 19 MLS appearances and scored two goals and tallied one assist.
Gjengaar and Norway U-21 will play face off against Span U-21 in an international friendly on Friday, October 10 in Spain. The midfielder has featured for various Norway Youth National Teams, including the U-15’s, U-17’s, U-18’s, U-19’s, and U-20’s. He has made 18 career appearances for the youth national teams and have scored two goals. Gjengaar has made one appearance for the Norway U-21’s, which came on June 5, 2025, in a 4-0 win over Wales U-21.
