The eventual game-winning goal helped Cásseres Jr. earn a spot on MLS' Audi Team of the Week.
Cásseres Jr. has been named to the Venezuela World Cup qualifier team for a pair of matches on June 3 and June 8.
Venezuela will take on Bolivia on June 3, then host Uruguay on June 8.
