HARRISON, N.J. (September 16, 2022) – The New York Red Bulls midfielders Caden Clark and Daniel Edelman have been selected to the United States U-20 Youth National Team roster for the 2022 Revelations Cup held in Mexico City, Mexico, U.S. Soccer announced today.
The Red Bulls midfielders and US U-20’s will begin the Revelations Cup on September 21. The participating nations in the tournament will be the United States, Mexico, Paraguay, and Peru. The US U-20’s will have matches on September 21, September 24, and September 27.
This will be four time that both midfielders have been called into U.S. U-20 duty, while both have captained the squad at least one time. Clark and Edelman both were selected for the roster for the U-20 CONCACAF Championship, where the U-20’s won the championship and qualified for both the U-20 World Cup and the 2024 Olympics, which was the first time the United States have done so since 2008.
