New York Red Bulls midfielder Alex Muyl was named to the MLS Team of the Week bench after scoring a goal against D.C. United on Saturday night.
Muyl scored his first goal of the season and third of his career early in the second half, heading home a corner kick from Sacha Kljestan, to put the Red Bulls up 1-0.
The midfielder started and played all 90 minutes on Saturday night, his third start of the season, and second time he went the full 90 in 2017.
