The New York Red Bulls Academy U-15s are set to compete in the 2018 Next Generation Trophy, taking place in Salzburg, Austria at FC Red Bull Salzburg Training Grounds from August 16 through August 18.
“Our 15s are honored to be invited to participate in the Next Generation Trophy in Salzburg,” Academy Director David Longwell said. “Competing against top youth sides from across the globe will only yield positive growth for our players as we continue to set the standard in being one of the top academies in the United States.”
The tournament consists of 12 teams from across the globe. The 15s are paired in Group C alongside Benfica of Portugal and Bayern Munich of Germany.
