ORLANDO, FL. (July 20, 2018) - The New York Red Bulls Academy U-14 side has advanced to the quarterfinals of the championship bracket in the International Champions Cup Futures presented by Rakuten.
The tournament features 24 teams from United States and Europe.
The U-14s tied Chelsea F.C., 1-1, in their opening match of the tournament Monday, followed by two 2-0 wins against Arsenal and the ICC All Stars of Illinois on Tuesday and Wednesday, respectively.
The Red Bulls are just one of two remaining MLS sides left in the tournament.
Friday’s quarterfinal match against the ICC All Stars of Arizona will take place at 3 p.m. ET and will be aired live on ESPNU.
If the U-14s advance, their match will be shown live on ESPNEWS on Saturday afternoon.
