The New York Red Bulls selected Luther Archimede with the 13th pick in the MLS SuperDraft, presented by adidas.
The forward arrives from Syracuse University. Archimede has played for Guadeloupe in the CONCACAF Under-20 Championship, and has also played for FC Sochaux in France.
The Petit-Bourg, Guadeloupe native started four matches for Syracuse in the Fall and led the team with 12 shots, five of them on goal. In his Junior year, he made 17 appearances, scoring four goals.
